How to map string input from the user to the corresponding Enum Name in C#

I am developing an web application, with HTML in the presentation layer and C sharp in the business layer. I had created an enum, which i use to take as input at the time of new user creation.

public enum Human
{
    Male,
    Female,
    Other
}

From the HTML controls, i am getting values in string format, such as "Male", "Female", etc. but when i am trying to assign them to concern enum value as below, i am getting compilation error.

Human gender = Human.Parse("Male");

Not sure how to do this properly.
